Happy Wednesday Y'all!
We are halfway to our Flaunt It Friday link party.
Don't forget to flaunt your stuff! :)

This week I am SO SO SO excited to introduce our guest blogger!!
Jamie is also from NC originally and we have reconnected through the blogging world! I love it when that happens!
She has an awesome blog that she shares with her family. Make sure you stop by and give those Wayward Girls some love. Take it away, Jamie!!!

Hi everyone! I'm Jaime, with Wayward Girls' Crafts! Thank you to Sarah, for having me! I blog with my mom and three sisters and we are a Wayward group! Wayward Crafting means flying by the seat of our pants and biting off more than we can chew but making it work. I love home decor, baking, jewelry making, and trying new things.

Sarah asked me to guest post today and I jumped at the chance. Sarah and I met when we were teenagers.(I have some embarrassing photos of us both, but alas they are at my parents' house. Sarah is safe!) Now we're both crafting and blogging! Awesome!

So today I'm sharing a craft perfect for fall: a Fall Leaves Monogram. I started by grabbing some fall patterned paper scraps from my scrapbook stash.

Using my Silhouette, I cut out a bunch of leaves from these scraps. Then I cut out my monogram also using my Silhouette. If you don't have a Silhouette, you could get some leaves like these and then hand cut your monogram. For this craft, you want a simple monogram because it ends up being really busy--straight lines are best!

I covered the "W" in adhesive and then stuck my first layer of leaves on.

Then I added more glue and filled in the holes.

I let the leaves staggered the leaves to create more visual interest and then trimmed down the sides.

Then I used some 3-D pop adhesives to give it a little dimension and backed it on a coordinating piece of cardstock.

Last, I popped it in a frame and called it good. Here's the finished product!

Here it is with my fall table scape:

I love to cover things with leaves. Here's my $1 Fall Leaves Canvas (yes, one dollar!)

I'd love to see you at Wayward Girls' Crafts. Thanks for having me, Sarah!
